Using Placement as a Winning Strategy
Whenever I am watching the top tennis pros playing on TV, I often wish I could hit shots as hard as they do. Unfortunately for me and most of us, if we try to use too much power, we tend to make too many errors. Therefore, I suggest that most players learn to use placement as a weapon.
If your opponent is standing behind the baseline, hit them a very short ball that they can't get to. If they like to crowd the net, throw up a deep lob over their head. If they have a strong forehand, place your shots to their backhand.
The match is won, not by who hits the hardest, but by who plays the smartest!
