MEET THE IRONHORSE COUNTRY CLUB TEAM
Jason is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida. He began playing the game of golf at the age of 5 and working in clubs at the age of 16. Jason received his degree in Hospitality Management from the College of Business at Florida State University. His work history includes more than 15 years of private club management in South Florida. Jason and his wife Danae have two sons, Jackson and Julian.

Chef John hails from Columbus, Ohio and moved to Palm Beach County in February 2013 to escape the bitter Midwest winters. He has been in the kitchen since he was a young child holding onto his grandmother’s apron strings. He started his career in 1986 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, home of the Memorial Tournament. After a 7 year apprenticeship, he accepted a chef position at a number of local golf clubs, including Wedgewood Country Club in Powel, Ohio and Jefferson Golf Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio. John has 4 children and 2 grandchildren, and he looks forward to meeting every member in person.

Jim was born in New York and raised on his grandfather's farm. He was drafted into the US Army after graduating from high school and served 13 months in Vietnam where he received a Bronze Star and a Combat Infantry Badge. After his service, he worked as an electrician then became a police officer. He retired as a Detective after 25 years. He has been married to his wife, Colleen for 42 years. He has two children and two grandchildren. He has worked for Ironhorse since August of 2006.
Deana is from Debuque, Iowa and has called South Florida home for the past 28 years. She studied Business Accounting and has worked in the Country Club industry for the last fourteen years., the past four of which were here at Ironhorse. During her time as a business professional, she worked her way up through various positions. Her responsibilities include Accounts Payable and Receivable as well as Human Resources. Mary Harris
Marketing & Membership Sales Manager
Mary’s business career began in Chicago, Illinois in the technology arena and continued in the private club industry, first in Cape Charles, Virginia and then to Florida . After serving as the Membership Director for several years at a private club in north central Florida, she joined the Ironhorse team in July 2014. Growing club memberships has become a passion, and Mary is committed to serving the Club’s membership needs and preserving the integrity of the private nature of this beautiful Club. Debbie Johnson
Food & Beverage Manager
Debbie Johnson is a native of Florida and has a beautiful daughter named Leslie. She has worked at Ironhorse Country Club since November of 2002., and brings 22 years of experience in restaurants and the food industry. Debbie is passionate about making dining at the Club a pleasurable experience with a friendly atmosphere and staff that she has trained to make our members feel welcome and at home. Lauren Pottinger
Member Services Coordinator
Lauren is a native Floridian and has been with Ironhorse since July of 2007. Lauren is an actor, singer, and improviser whose business career began in the theater. She worked for three years as a performer, manager and administrator at a theater in Newport, KY. This job gave her the skills to transition into her position as Member Services Coordinator at Ironhorse. Lauren has been around golf for most of her life as her father is an avid golfer and has worked for the PGA of America for 25 years. Lauren can be reached at 561-624-5550.
Jay Pacholzczak
Golf Course Superintendent
Jay is originally from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He moved to Florida in 1987 and has been in Port St. Lucie ever since. He has been a USGA member for 15 years and has worked in the golf industry for 28. He has worked for a number of courses in the area - Great White Enterprises, Medalist, Jupiter Hills, Jonathans Landing and more - over the course of his career. Jay has been with Ironhorse for 5 years.
Tim Turpen
Head Golf Professional
Originally from Fayetteville, TN, Tim moved to West Palm Beach in 1998. He played college golf at the University of Tennessee. He has over 15 years experience in and around Private Country Clubs. Tim played professional tournament golf on several tours including the Nationwide Tour and has worked with many top 100 golf instructors.
